If you are new to Suwon and looking for voulunteering, please email me!

As you can see, I have uploaded the post volunteering reports after weekly activities. However, what you see is only the tip of the iceberg. About 10 volunteers have become really close friends, work at the same place, share different hobbies, fun and dedicate themselves to the cause and this is not seen online.

Don't just leave should you look for some volunteering action in the city of Suwon. Get involved. Reach out.

Thank you.

Week 56 Recap
: We had a newcomer, John from South Africa. He came with a great deal of food such as hardboiled eggs, ramen, moonpie, capri sun, large sized milk and so forth. It was a big surprise. Because of his generosity, we were able to benefit many people. While giving away the food, we realized that they wanted gloves for Christmas.

Week 57 Recap
: Upon hearing that they wanted gloves, Rachael, Christi, Derrick and I marched down to the traditional market in Suwon to purchase hats and gloves. And, we did. It was cold out and yet our heart was not. We grabbed 25 hats and 25 pairs of gloves to keep them warm. I luckily haggled with the store owner and hammered out a shaveoff and an extra pair of baby gloves :)
: After Grace joined us, we headed to the station to do the routine. Then, there, we doled out the gloves and some hats at the shelter. With 60 bags of goodies in our hands, we went out again.
: Strangely enough, the majority of the people we came across last night was never seen by us. And, to be honest, that made us a bit hesitant to distribute the hats we were left with. The guy who asked for a pair of gloves was not their. Subsequently, we decided to leave the hats in the hands of the workers at the shelter, thinking that, after all, the guys at the shelter have checked themselves in with no sobriety issues. Now you know that one MUST pass the breathalyzer test upon entering the premises.
: I would be lying should I say I did not miss doing free hugs with ya'll. I hope those of you that have left the country still remember us and them at the same time. Thank you all for being part of this cause. I bid you a very Merry Christmas.
